New to Wine Tours? Start here!

  • Wine tours are your opportunity to see, taste, and feel the magic of wine country without the concern of driving. You're provided with a vehicle and driver to guide you around the area and tasting rooms.

Typical wine tours visit 2 to 5 winery tasting rooms. Your driver will walk you into each place and help get you comfortable. At each place, you have the option to do a tasting flight, get a glass of your favorite bottle, or purchase bottles to share.

Once finished, you're safely driven to the next one by your tour driver. Your driver will share stories and local knowledge about wineries and regions along the way.

    Wine tours may include:

    • Tasting flights: Each winery offers the ability to try a range of their wines. Tasting flights typically include 4 to 5 of their wines to try. Some wineries may offer different options for flights, such as an elevated experience of their Reserve wines.

    • Vineyard walks: The tasting rooms are often right in the middle of the vineyard. Many have pathways for you to walk and see the vines your wine is grown from yourself!

    • Cave tours: Some wineries offer tours of their caves. Wines in kept in these underground cellars to age them with stable temperatures, humidity, and light. Caves have been used for centuries and provide a unique experience to add to a wine tour!

    • Food pairing: Select places will offer cheese or food pairings with a tasting flight.

    • Lunch: Plenty of wineries understand the need to eat when you are drinking wine all day. They offer delicious, fresh food alongside your winery experience. In Paso, we have Michelin-winning wineries for an excellent stop along the way.

  • It doesn't have to be! We have breweries, distilleries, and olive oil-tasting opportunities as well. Our wine tours are fully custom, so you can go wherever you'd like.

  • It's up to you! Paso Robles is casual, but don't let that stop you from dressing up. Check the weather and keep in mind that some wineries have outdoor seating only. On hot days, there are fans and mist but having cool and breathable clothing is essential. Our temperatures can reach 110°F

  • It depends. Some wineries require you to book weeks in advance, but others accept walk-ins. Talk to us and we'll sort out all your reservations for you!

Our Wine Tour Policies

  • Yes. Underage adults are welcome but will not be able to drink wine, of course. The wineries don’t disallow underage guests, but won’t serve them. As for kids, some wineries are better suited to children than others (room to run outdoors is the main thing) but children are welcome to tag along. Ask us about the more kid-friendly wineries.

  • Yes. As long as your dog(s) aren’t going to damage the vehicle’s interior, we love dogs too :) Most wineries allow dogs, but some do not. We will take this into account when booking your tour.

  • Pricing is per hour, not per guest.

  • Yes. Sometimes we’ll do a gas surcharge or quote at a bit higher hourly rate for long-distance pickups, other times not, but we routinely pick up on the coast, in San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande etc.

  • Your driver will bring water in a cooler for the entire group. It's essential to stay hydrated during a day of wine tasting!

  • Yes! It's a great idea to bring snacks and drinks for the rides between wineries. Some wineries can be 45 minutes away from each other, so it's smart to have something to snack.
